facebook needs to fail, but users are hooked. they simply don't know of alternatives.

I know I know, it's obvious.

What am I doing about it? Constructing an alternative for a local .org that I volunteer with. Trying to tell them that we can control what's on the screen. Make it a more appealing and useful alternative. Once complete, I'll be able to do it for others.

Screw the invasive and manipulative AIs. The blackmail potential is so enormous. How many kids will be haunted for the rest of their lives by their online interactions with Zuck's AI bots? When will they get hacked? Are foreign adversaries already lurking inside there somewhere?
